Catherine Nelson is a visual artist originally from Louisiana and currently working in Denver. She uses her drawing practice to develop prints, sculptures, performances, and installations. Her work is inspired by documenting movement and change, looking to things like dynamic rock formations, construction sites, weather patterns, and dance. She studied visual art at Duke University, the Maryland Institute College of Art, and Tyler School of Art in Rome, and also earned her MBA from Tulane University. She continues to assist and collaborate with artists, craftspeople, and dancers to develop her skills and ideas.
